Trinidad Program Files 1973-1982.

This series comprises records relating to mission work conducted in Trinidad by the Division for World Mission and Ecumenism (DWME) of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA). These records were retained by the office of the Secretary for South American and the Caribbean and are from 1973-1982. This series contains a small amount of general business correspondence dealing mostly with inquires made to either the area secretary or the Rev. William K. Harman, DWME Church Development Counselor, Caribbean. The bulk of the records are specific projects to which the DWME provided financial and administrative assistance. Though they may sometimes be projects which are greater in area than Trinidad and include the word Caribbean in the project names, the creators of the records had specifically labeled and stored these records under Trinidad rather than Caribbean. Files are arranged alphabetically by subject.
